Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Coronavirus PREVENTION
& Strategy:

Coronavirus Symptoms:
Usually start with only a FEVER (~98% of cases) and a Dry Cough may come later (~60% of cases).

Temperature above 37.8 C (~38C) or 100 F (= fever), vs normal body temperature of 37.0 C  (98.6 F).

☆ Dry Cough.

Breathing difficulties.

Normal body temperature:  98.6°F (37°C).
Some studies have shown that the "normal" body temperature can have a wide range, from 97°F (36.1°C) to 99°F (37.2°C).

A temperature over 100.4°F (38°C) most often means you have a fever.

Ironically  the 3, 7, 15  RULE... would also work to help PREVENT the Coronavirus pandemic.

"3, 7, 15 second RULE for Staying Alive on the Highway":
www.3715rule.com

We should ALWAYS practice HEALTHY HYGIENE. (WASH HANDS  & avoid coughing & sneezing on people along with things people will touch, or eat. Such as food & drinks!)⚘

Distancing  ("Social Distancing"):

We should stay at least

3ft (1m) away from others, preferably

7ft (2m), and ideally

15ft (3m).

 "3, 7, 15  foot DISTANCE"  or  1, 2, 3 meters.

Better yet: "3, 7, 15 meters of Social Distance" when possible.

3, 7, 15 meter RULE:

Stay a minimum of

3m (~10ft) away from others, preferably

7m (~23ft) away, even SAFER

15m (~50ft) away.

Why?

Research by scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has measured that coughing spreads droplets as far as six meters (6m/ ~20ft), and sneezing as much as eight meters (8m/ ~26ft). These droplets can stay suspended in the air for up to 10 minutes.

Guesstimates for how long a virus can live on hard surfaces ranges from 24 hrs to 3 days to as long as 9 days! This includes FOOD that was touched with infected fingers, or sneezed/coughed on by whoever made the food/drink.

The incubation period is USUALLY 2 to 14 days. Although it seems some people developed symptoms anywhere between the first day and the 27th day. (0 to 27 days!)

The latest research indicates that we might be carriers of the Coronavirus for up to ~37 days! (Let's say ~40 days to be SAFE!)

Stay Home, Stay Safe❣ 🙃

Perhaps using "Digital Laser Temperature Guns" at Borders, Truck Stops, Trucking Company Terminals,  and other strategic locations to quickly test people for a FEVER would be an efficient means of stemming propagation... and then send them to treatment/Quarantine IMMEDIATELY after confirmation of a  FEVER  with a medical Digital Thermometer.

Essential Services Personnel should be zapped with a "Digital Laser Temperature Gun" twice daily: on arrival at work, and before going home.

FEVER was the only sign & symptom in ~98% of cases initially!

This may be your only clue!

Dry Cough appeared later in ~60% of cases for Coronavirus Infection.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend these simple measures to reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19),  SARS-CoV-2:

  • avoid close contact with people who seem sick
  • try not to touch your eyes, nose, or mouth
  • stay at home if you are sick
  • sneeze & cough into a tissue, then throw it in the trash. Do not leave it on a table or other surface. The virus can survive 24 hrs to 3 days, possibly 9 days on that surface!
  • if there are no tissues available, sneeze/cough into the crook of your elbow or into your shoulder
  • use standard cleaning sprays and wipes to disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
  • wash your hands with soap & water regularly for 20 seconds.

Although it is widely circulated that it may be possible to STOP the Coronavirus in the throat before it spreads to the lungs, this is not true.

However, the following technique will help prevent and/or relieve a sore throat.

But sore throats are not a symptom/sign of Coronavirus Infection!

Gargle with a Salt & Vinegar Mouthwash, or a Commercial Mouthwash twice daily for ~2 minutes, and 4 or more times per day if you begin to develop a cough or sore throat.

Salt & Vinegar Mouthwash: How to Make Your Own Bottle:

Mix One Cup (1C, 250 ml) water with 3 Tablespoons (3T, ~45 ml) Vinegar, One Tablespoon (1T, 15 ml) Salt and two teaspoons (2t, 10 ml) Baking Soda in a bottle or other closed jar/container. Mix it all up.

Presto, ready for use!

Toothpaste Mouthwash: Put ~1 teaspoon of Toothpaste containing Flouride in your mouth. Add a sip of water. Gargle ~2 minutes.

ROGUE INFECTORS/"Super-Spreaders":

Actually the Most DANGEROUS thing in an epidemic or pandemic is ROGUE INFECTORS/"Super-Spreaders".

Those IRRESPONSIBLE people that cough and sneeze on EVERYONE and EVERYTHING, never covering their mouth & nose!

Such an IRRESPONSIBLE person let loose in a mass transit situation, and/or in other crowded places can infect hundreds, or even Thousands!

Do we organize an "Infection Prevention Police" to take these Rogue Infectors to QUARANTINE?

Patient 31 was a super-spreader who passed it to thousands of other people.》

Whether the INFECTIOUS Disease is Polio, Tuberculosis, Mumps, Measels... SARS...Coronavirus...

"SUPER-SPREADERS"/ROGUE INFECTORS always cause the most damage.

We should ALWAYS practice HEALTHY HYGIENE. (WASH HANDS  & avoid coughing & sneezing on people along with things people will touch, or eat. Such as food & drinks!)
